Ingredients

Whenever possible, use organic or locally grown products.

  • 1–2 heads of cauliflower

  • Marinara sauce

  • Shredded mozzarella

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)

Spice It Up

  • ½ tsp each: garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Prep the cauliflower – Remove green leaves but leave the stem intact (or the entire head will fall apart).

  3. Slice & arrange – Cut cauliflower into 1-inch steaks and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  4. Season – In a bowl, combine EVOO, Parmesan cheese, and spices. Spread this mixture on both sides of the cauliflower steaks.

  5. Bake – Bake for 20 minutes until tender when pierced with a fork, flipping halfway through.

  6. Add toppings – Cover each steak with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella.

  7. Bake again – Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is golden brown.

Feel free to add other pizza toppings like red pepper, olives, onions, etc.
