Is fluoride saving your teeth or quietly wreaking havoc on your bones, brain, and hormones.

🦷💧 What is Fluoride?
Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that’s:
Found naturally in rocks and soil.
Added to toothpaste and mouth rinses because it hardens enamel and may reduce cavities.
Endorsed by organizations like the American Dental Association.
Added to U.S. drinking water since the 1940s, all in the name of children’s dental health.
⚠️ The Facts You Have to Read to Believe
Since 1996, Dr. Paul Connett has been speaking out about fluoride dangers, telling congress: "A poison being added to our drinking water."
Fluoride is a hazardous waste solution from the fertilizer industry.
Companies were legally forbidden to release fluoride into the environment, as it was killing cattle and crops downstream.
Then, in the 1940s, lobbyists got fluoride reclassified — not as toxic waste, but as “water treatment.”
Now, instead of paying to dispose of this hazardous waste, they get paid to dump it in our water.
--->Hmmmmm. So, the same companies that make phosphate fertilizers
also make fluoride to help children’s teeth.
“Ingesting fluoride for dental health is like swallowing sunscreen to prevent sunburn.”
-Dr. Mercola
🚫 Why Some States Are Banning It
Several cities and states are starting to say "No thanks" to fluoridated water — here’s why:
Bone brittleness: Harder, denser bones... but more prone to fracture
Lowered IQ in children: Linked to developmental neurotoxicity
Endocrine disruption: Affects thyroid and hormones
Increased risk of dental fluorosis: Especially in children under 8
✅ What Can You Do?
Here’s your wellness warrior checklist:
Filter Your Water
Use a filter that removes fluoride — such as reverse osmosis, activated alumina, or Berkey with fluoride attachments.
Don’t assume your standard Brita is doing the trick — most do not remove fluoride.
Brush, Don’t Swallow fluoride-free products
Use fluoride-free toothpaste (check out Dr. Bronner’s or David’s Natural Toothpaste).
Focus on topical use if you choose to use fluoride at all.
Stay Informed
Follow researchers like Dr. Paul Connett and Dr. Mercola, who challenge outdated public health policies.
🧠 That’s a Wrap
Fluoride’s a perfect example of how something "good for you" can turn out to be... complicated. Choose dental products wisely, filter your water, and stay curious.
